According to me,

1 + 6=7--odd
2 + 5=7--odd
3 + 6=9--odd
1 + 4 + 4 = 9--odd
1 + 9 + 6 = 16--even
2 + 2 + 5 = 9 --odd.

16 is an even number, why it is not 196?

4*4 = 16.
5*5 = 25.
6*6 = 36.
12*12 = 144.
14*14 = 196.
15*15 = 225.

72 is not a square of any number.

Why can't the answer be option C:196?

Because,
1+6=7
2+5=7
3+6=9
7+2=9
1+4+4=9
1+9+6=16
2+2+5=9.

Of all these numbers, only the sum of digits of 196 is even, rest is odd.

Why not 196? the sum of all other numbers are 9 so it is divisible by 9.

Here answer will be 196 because sum of the digits in all the numbers are the odd number except 196.
