It can also be like this.
3+2 = 5, 5+6 = 11, 11+3 = 14, 14+7 = 21.
So according to this, 17 is "Find the odd number".
The first number is increased by 2 followed by an increase by 6. The next number is increased by 3 followed by an increase by 7 and so on.
