It can also be like this.
3+2 = 5, 5+6 = 11, 11+3 = 14, 14+7 = 21.
So according to this, 17 is "Find the odd number".
The first number is increased by 2 followed by an increase by 6. The next number is increased by 3 followed by an increase by 7 and so on.
3+2 = 5, 5+6 = 11, 11+3 = 14, 14+7 = 21.
So according to this, 17 is "Find the odd number".
The first number is increased by 2 followed by an increase by 6. The next number is increased by 3 followed by an increase by 7 and so on.

There is an integer which shows a very peculiar feature: no matter any number is subtracted from it, the result is always exactly divisible by successor of that number. What is the integer?

Yes, I agree @Topcoder.
A is the correct answer.
Because:
3,
3 * 2 - 1 = 5.
3 * 4 - 1 = 11.
3 * 5 - 1 = 14.
3 * 6 - 1 = 17.
But
3 * 7 - 1 =20 So option A is correct.

(1)^2 = 1 + 2 = 3.
(2)^2 = 4 + 1 = 5.
(3)^2 = 9 + 2 = 11.
(4)^2 = 16 + 1 = 17.
(5)^2 = 25 + 2 = 27.
So, 21 will be the correct answer.
(2)^2 = 4 + 1 = 5.
(3)^2 = 9 + 2 = 11.
(4)^2 = 16 + 1 = 17.
(5)^2 = 25 + 2 = 27.
So, 21 will be the correct answer.

3, 5, 11, 17, 21 is a odd numbers and 14 is an even number.
But 14 divided in 2 two part of 7+7 = 14. 7 is a odd number.

0 + 3 = 3
0 + 5 = 5
1 + 4 = 5
1 + 2 = 3
1 + 1 = 2
1 + 7 = 8
Except 17 all have sum prime no. So 17 should be the answer.
0 + 5 = 5
1 + 4 = 5
1 + 2 = 3
1 + 1 = 2
1 + 7 = 8
Except 17 all have sum prime no. So 17 should be the answer.

1. All are odd no and 14 is a even no
2. All are prime but 14 is even if 21 is exclude.
