To be clear 12 is not a prime number because it is divisible by 9 and 1. Prime number is only divisible by 1 and it should not be multiple of any other number.

The series can follow 2, 5, 2, 5 (these being the difference between the two numbers).

So the series will be like 3 5 10 12 17 19. So 7 is the odd one out.

The remainder for every other number is 1 except 12 hence 12 is the odd one.

3/2 = 1
5/2 = 1
7/2 = 1
12/2 = 0 this is right
17/2 = 1
19 / 2 = 1

The difference between the two nos following this series- 2, 2, 5, 5, . So the next no will be with the difference of 8 i.e. 25. So 19 is odd.

3+2 = 5.
5+2 = 7.
7+5 = 12.
12+5 = 17.
19 +2 = 23.

Every answer is odd number so 12 is even.

3+5 =7
7+5 =12
12+7= 19

Thus if form Fibbonaci series then odd one in series is 12 . 12 also be the answer.
