27.
On dividing a number by 56, we get 29 as remainder. On dividing the same number by 8, what will be the remainder ?
Answer: Option
Explanation:
Formula: (Divisor*Quotient) + Remainder = Dividend.
Soln:
(56*Q)+29 = D -------(1)
D%8 = R -------------(2)
From equation(2),
((56*Q)+29)%8 = R.
=> Assume Q = 1.
=> (56+29)%8 = R.
=> 85%8 = R
=> 5 = R.

Actually,
Number= (k*56+29).
Number= (k*56+24+5).
Number=8* (k*7+3) +5.
So divided number by 8, We get reminder 5.
Number= (k*56+29).
Number= (k*56+24+5).
Number=8* (k*7+3) +5.
So divided number by 8, We get reminder 5.

If the remainder is again divided by 8 the remainder is 5.
29 / 8 = 3 remainder 5
29 / 8 = 3 remainder 5

Let x be the number.
Then, x = 56k + 29 = 56k + 24 + 5 = 8(7k + 3) + 5
Hence remainder will be 5.
Then, x = 56k + 29 = 56k + 24 + 5 = 8(7k + 3) + 5
Hence remainder will be 5.

Let X be the number.
According to the formula,
Divisor = dividend-remainder/quotient.
Putting all in formula.
56 = x-29.
x = 85.
Now we got the number therefore dividing it by 8.
We get Remainder as 5 That's the Answer.

Let us take the number as X and we know divisor is 56 and the remainder is 29. Therefore , for instance lets consider the following math,
56 ) X ( 2
112
------
29
------
Which means X - 112 = 29. Therefore X = 112+29 = 141.
Now divide 141 with 8.
The remainder is 5.
56 ) X ( 2
112
------
29
------
Which means X - 112 = 29. Therefore X = 112+29 = 141.
Now divide 141 with 8.
The remainder is 5.

If we take a number which is divisible by 56 having reminder 29.
I take 141/56 it give 29 reminder.
Now the same number is divided by 8 it will give reminder as 5.
I take 141/56 it give 29 reminder.
Now the same number is divided by 8 it will give reminder as 5.

Let number be : 56*1+29=85.
When 85 divided by 8. Remainder is 5.
Similarly,
56*2+29=141.
141/8, gives 5 remainder.
When 85 divided by 8. Remainder is 5.
Similarly,
56*2+29=141.
141/8, gives 5 remainder.

Division is similar to subtraction in which numerator is greater than denominator,
So in this case
Number= 56*a+29.
So dividing this number by 8 means
56*a / 8 is completely dividable.
And 29= 8*3+5
So 5 will be remaining.
So in this case
Number= 56*a+29.
So dividing this number by 8 means
56*a / 8 is completely dividable.
And 29= 8*3+5
So 5 will be remaining.

Let the number be X.
On dividing X by 56 we get remainder 29.
That means X-29 is divisible by 56.
Co primes for 56 are 7, 8 that means 7*8 = 56.
So X-29 is divisible by 7 and 8.
That mean X-29/8 gives a reminder 0.
This means X/8 remainder-29/8 remainder =0.
X/8 remainder - 5 = 0.
X/8 remainder = 5.
