As you seen sum of digit is (29+x). So we have to feed the value of x which make digit divisible by 9.

29+x.

If we put x = 7.
Then 29+7 = 36.

Divisible by 9.

If we put 2 in place of 7.
Then (29+2) = 31.

Not divisible by 9.

Here the quest smallest hole no. which is divisible by 9.

A small technique,
If the sum of all no. equal to 9 then it is divisible by 9.

Ex:

15462.
1+5+4+6+2=18=> 1+8 =9 so it is divisible by 9.

Another case,

15460.
1+5+4+6+0=16=>1+6=7 if we add 2 to it then it will divisible by 9.

Same as to this question.

Hello muskan. If he won't ask us to take smallest whole no. then we may also take x=15. Which is also correct one?

Here if we add 2 to 29 then it becomes 31 so it is not devisible by 9. And also same in the case of 5 and 6. Lastly we have 7 if it is added to 29 it becomes 36 so it is divisible by 9. So here 7 is the smallest whole number.

Small whole number is just given to confuse us...
and smallest whole number is not 1 it is 0 so accordin to the question we must substitute smallest possible whole number which satisfies the condition

in dis question dey have asked for small whole number so accordingly it must be 1 as 29 plus 1 =30.but as 30 nt divided by 9so we cant take it. is writing smallest whole number in question is valid or not
