Multiplication of a number by 5^n: Put n zeros to the right of the multiplicand and divide the number so formed by 2^n.
So (112 x 5^4) = 1120000/2^4 = 1120000/16 = 70000.
Note: It is only apply for 5^n.
Thank you.
So (112 x 5^4) = 1120000/2^4 = 1120000/16 = 70000.
Note: It is only apply for 5^n.
Thank you.

@Shefali you nailed it. Just count the power of 5, and that many zeros have to be in answer.

Using the calculator we got the easy calculation.
(112*5*5*5*5) = 70000.
(112*5*5*5*5) = 70000.

It's so simple.
= 16x7x5^4.
= 7x (2^4x5^4).
= 7x (2x5) ^4 = 70000.
= 16x7x5^4.
= 7x (2^4x5^4).
= 7x (2x5) ^4 = 70000.

We can simply check the number of zeros by determining the number of 5's.
Here, number of 5 = 4.
So, the answer will must have 4 zeros in last! So, here the answer will be 70000!

We can use simple method:
5^4 = 5*5*5*5 = 625.
Then this to multiply with 112.
You can easily get answer 112*625 = 70000.
5^4 = 5*5*5*5 = 625.
Then this to multiply with 112.
You can easily get answer 112*625 = 70000.
