The most easy method is
we all know that 5^4=(5^2)*(5^2)
=25*25=625
and then we multiple this answer with 112
i.e., (112*625)=70000

Addition is simpler than multiplication,
(100+10+2)*(25*25)
=(100+10+2)*[25(20+5)]
=(100+10+2)*[500+125]
=(100+10+2)*625
=62500+6250+1250
=70000

=(100+10+2)*[500+125]
=(100+10+2)*625

Use formula (a+b) *c = (a*c) + (b*c).
(100+12) *625 = (100*625) + (12*625).
= 62500+7500.
= 70000.
