The Clock was 2 minute late on Monday noon. ok.
Again it found 4 min and 48 sec fast on next Monday 2 p.m.
Means clock was gaining continuously, from Monday noon to next Monday 2 p.m.
Hence total gain = 2 min +4 min and 48 sec.
