1 hour is 30°

so, the total time duration between 8am to 2pm is 6 hours.

so finally 6hours*30° ------> 6*30 = 180°.

The difference between morning 8 o'clock and afternoon 2 o'clock is 6 hours.
Then we know that 1 hour =30°.
6 hours = 6*30=180°.

@Rupa.

If the first time is 1'o'clock a second time is 3'o'clock then definitely you will take between 1 & 3 = 60°.

On the other hand, if it is mentioned as first time 3 and the second time 1 then you will take between 3 & 1 = 300°.

1hr=30degree.

The gap btw 8to 2is 6hrs.
Then the hour hand move is 6*30=180 degrees.

Each hour has 30 degrees. So, 8 to 2 there are 6 hours. So 30*6=180.

Total (6hr * 60min) /2 = 180°.

Hour hand moves 1/2 in 1min.
