An industrial loom weaves 0.128 metres of cloth every second. Approximately, how many seconds will it take for the loom to weave 25 metres of cloth?
Answer: Option
Explanation:
Le the required time be x seconds.
More metres, More time (Direct Proportion)
0.128 : 25 :: 1 : x
0.128x = 25 x 1
x = | 25 | = | 25 x 1000 |
0.128 | 128 |
x = 195.31.
Required time = 195 sec (approximately).

It should be 204 seconds as it takes a minimum time of 195.31.
There should be an option with 196 seconds it will be most appropriate.

For 0.128 mtrs = 1 secs.
For 1 mts = 1/0.28 secs.
For 25 mts = 25 (1/0.128) = 195.31.
For 1 mts = 1/0.28 secs.
For 25 mts = 25 (1/0.128) = 195.31.

125*60=7680
7680/1000=7.68
25/7068=3.255
3.255*60=195.31
7680/1000=7.68
25/7068=3.255
3.255*60=195.31
