1.
It was Sunday on Jan 1, 2006. What was the day of the week Jan 1, 2010?
Answer: Option
Explanation:
On 31st December, 2005 it was Saturday.
Number of odd days from the year 2006 to the year 2009 = (1 + 1 + 2 + 1) = 5 days.
On 31st December 2009, it was Thursday.
Thus, on 1st Jan, 2010 it is Friday.

Everytime the odd days are considered from sunday onwards i.e.,if there are are 0 odd days then we take the day as sunday and the count follows likewise

2006 jan 1 Sunday
2010 jan 1 ?
Here,
Jan 1 ana jan1 cut
then,
(2010-2006)
=4
leap year = 1
=4+1
=1
So, given day is sunday+5
= Friday is the answer.
2010 jan 1 ?

Here, 2010-2006 = 4 days.
2008 is a leap year, so we get one more day => 5 days.
1-Jan-2006 is Sunday.
So 1-Jan-2010 = Sunday + 5 days = Friday.

There was only one leap year and the difference of years is 4 now add 1 leap year (eg. 4+1).

If any year divided by 4 with out reminder its year known as leep year.
E.g: 2008/4 = 502 (no reminder)

Solution:
Day = date+ month code + year code +no.of normal years + no.of leap years-1/7
01 + 01 + 06 + 10 + 10/4 - 4 = 7 - 1 = 6.
6 is Friday,
Day = date+ month code + year code +no.of normal years + no.of leap years-1/7
01 + 01 + 06 + 10 + 10/4 - 4 = 7 - 1 = 6.
6 is Friday,

Its simple:
2007-1 odd day (leap year).
2008-2 odd days (non leap).
2009-1 odd day (leap year).
= 1 + 1 + 2 + 1 (Jan 1= 1 day) = 5 = Friday.
2007-1 odd day (leap year).
2008-2 odd days (non leap).
2009-1 odd day (leap year).
= 1 + 1 + 2 + 1 (Jan 1= 1 day) = 5 = Friday.
