What was the day of the week on 17th June, 1998?
Answer: Option
Explanation:
17th June, 1998 = (1997 years + Period from 1.1.1998 to 17.6.1998)

96/4 = 24. and 96 -24 =72 ordinary years.
This means in 96 years there are 24 leap years and 72 ordinary years.
So, in 97 years = 96 (24 odd +72 ordinary)+ 1 (ordinary).
=> 97 years = 24 odd + 73 ordinary years.
i.e. 97-24 = 73 ordinary years.
This means in 96 years there are 24 leap years and 72 ordinary years.
So, in 97 years = 96 (24 odd +72 ordinary)+ 1 (ordinary).
=> 97 years = 24 odd + 73 ordinary years.
i.e. 97-24 = 73 ordinary years.
