Step 1: Grandparents.
2 grandparents, average = 67.
Total = 2 × 67 = 134.
Step 2: Parents.
2 parents, average = 35
Total= 2 × 35 = 70.
Step 3: Grandchildren.
3 grandchildren, average = 618.
Total = 3 × 6 = 18.
Step 4: Total family age,
134 + 70 + 18 = 222.
Step 5: Total people
2 + 2 + 3 = 7.
Step 6 : average age of family.
222/7 ≈ 31.71 years.
= 31 5/7 answer.
Here 5 is remainder 31 is quotient and 7 divisor.
