The average of 20 numbers is zero. Of them, at the most, how many may be greater than zero?
Answer: Option
Explanation:
Average of 20 numbers = 0.
Sum of 20 numbers (0 x 20) = 0.
It is quite possible that 19 of these numbers may be positive and if their sum is a then 20th number is (-a).

But can it also be like;
All numbers are 0.
Therefore sum =0,
And sum/20 = avg.
Therefore 0/20 = 0.
Hence 0 be the answer.

And sum/20 = avg.
Therefore 0/20 = 0.

The remaining 10 numbers are - ve (-2,-3,-4,-5,-6,-7,-9,-10).

Why can't there be less than 19 positive numbers?
For example : 1+2+3+0+4+5--------19.
