In Arun's opinion, his weight is greater than 65 kg but less than 72 kg. His brother does not agree with Arun and he thinks that Arun's weight is greater than 60 kg but less than 70 kg. His mother's view is that his weight cannot be greater than 68 kg. If all are them are correct in their estimation, what is the average of different probable weights of Arun?
Answer: Option
Explanation:
Let Arun's weight by X kg.
According to Arun, 65 < X < 72
According to Arun's brother, 60 < X < 70.
According to Arun's mother, X <= 68
The values satisfying all the above conditions are 66, 67 and 68.

3 years ago the average age of 3 members is 27 but the present age of 3 members is 30 so 30*3=90.
Avg age of 2 members 5yrs ago 20 years present age is 25 so 25*2 =50 then 90-50=40.

It's very simple.
Using formula,
Average = (sum of observation/Number of observations).
Now put the values;
65 + 72 + 60 + 70 + 68/5 = 67.

40/0.5 = 80 man = 80*11/16 = 55 and son's age = 80-55 = 25.

Arun's statement : (65+72)/2 = 68,
Arun's brother statement : (60+70)/2 = 65,
his mother statement : 68.
Now (68+65+68)/3 = 67.
Arun's brother statement : (60+70)/2 = 65,

As per the condition, only three ages i.e 66, 67, 68 comes in range. And the average will be 67.
