TCS INTERVIEW - 16 JUL 2006 - CHENNAI

Hi Friends

first of all i thank to all the members of this group which has helped me a lot to get through TCS. I am selected in TCS (interview held at july 16th chennai)
here is my technical interview and MR(Management Review)
Technical

After all the formalities i attended the interview at 8.00 p.m
in my technical interview there was only one person
he    : tell me about yourself
me   : Explained about me
he    : what is your project
me   : clearly explained about my project
he    : what is your areas of interest
me   : Microprocessor, Digital Electronics and c
he    : explain the architecture of 8085
me   : clearly explained with digram
he    : gave two quation A+B = c,  A+C =D and i use two    
        ALU in microprocessor, what is the difference
me   :There is no difference since the second equation requires the out put of the first the speed will be same
he    :Difference between C and c++
me   :C-Structured programming, C++->OOPS concept and explained oops concept
  thats all then he told me to wait outside, after 2 minutes a lady came and told me that i was selected and  gave one form to fill.
after that they told me to attend the MR interview the next day 3.30 p.m

MR interview

he   : Tell me about yourself
me   : Explained
he   : tell me about your project
me   : Explained
he   : assume that we are coustomers and how will you market yourself to get job here
me   : TCS is a software based company which requires some mathematics skills and programming skills. so i am sure given an opportuinity i can able to meet yours requirement.
he   : Can able to work in a team
me   : yes
he   : how can you say
me   : i have done my project in a team, and i was one of the member of ISTE and organised many ISTE activities, even there i was worked in team so i am sure that i can able to work in team
he   : vision of TCs
me   : told
he   : mission and quality policy of TCS
me   : dont know
he   : what else do you know about TCs
me   : told something about tcs
he   : do you have passport
me   : no sir, i need to apply
he   : can able to shift location
me   : yes sir
he   : ok we'l get you back
then i left the room
they gave me a toll free number and asked me to call next week so that u can know your result the next week when i called they told you are selected
i am now waiting for my offer letter and date of joining
