Explanation:

This is an alternating number subtraction series. First, 2 is subtracted, then 4, then 2, and so on.

We can do it other way also as follows: 36 - 30 = 6. 34 - 28 = 6. 30 - 24 = 6. 28 - 22 = 6. So answer is 22.

The series is 36,34,30,28,24. lets take difference of succesve 36-34=2,34-30=4,30-28=2,28-24=4 by abserving the above differences that is clear tht 4,2 are the succesive differences that we are getting. So the next difference is 2 (4,2,4,2,4, next number 24-2=22
