Nobel prize is given in the memory of Alfred Nobel a great scientist. Every year nobel prize given on 10 December.

First time nobel prize given in year 1901 but in Economics first time given in 1961. First nobel prize winner in India is Rabindra Nath Taigore for literature 1913.

One of the reason for not including maths in noble category is that alfred noble didn't care much for mathematics, and that it was not considered a practical science from which humanity could benefit (a chief purpose for creating the Nobel Foundation).
