I agree, but I think option A is correct because even if the tomato was veg (if) then the fruit would still be outside both circles and vice versa with the fruit.

A TOMATO is a vegetable and hence is a part of it. but fruit is a differnt concept. hence 'C'

In vegetable family tomato is one part, fruit is diffrent from vegetables hence A is correct.
