I agree with priyanka. That overlapped part indicates that travellers travel both by bus as well as train.

Thats what the Fig. C tells you!
The midlle circle indicates Travellers which is then overlapped by the other 2 circles which thus shows that the traveller uses bus as well as train!

The answer C is correct. But the only thing is the duagram is incorrect. The circle of travellers should be a bigger one (middle circle) than the other two circles - bus and train respectively.

I agree with Sundar. Also note that D is not the answer as there can be people who used to travel on both bus and train.

The given answer is correct.
The reason for why NOT option D ?
In the case of D, The bus or train should contain only travellers. But Drivers, Conductors, Checkers, cleaners, Packages and Goods are not travellers. So the option D cannot be the answer.
Note: We can select D if images like C, B are not given as options.
