- (B) If only (2) conclusion follows
- (C) If either (1) or (2) follows

Answer should be-D.
The middle term is goat, which is not distributed either of the statements,
Conclusion -II- cannot follow, as the main term in the conclusion that is trees should be distributed atleast once.

Neither holds as it is given that some goats are trees but it can be the case that all trees are goats which is not considered.

@Selvakumar
According to first diagram some poets cannot be trees.
Since it fails in the first case (first diagram) we cannot make it as a conclusion.
The conclusion should not be questionable. If it fails at-least one case, it cannot be considered as a conclusion.
Some trees are goats <--convergence--> Some goats are trees. So, follows.
Therefore, the given answer is correct.
Hope this help you. Have a nice day!
