Directions to Solve
In each of the following questions two statements are given and these statements are followed by two conclusions numbered (1) and (2). You have to take the given two statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts. Read the conclusions and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the two given statements, disregarding commonly known facts.
Give answer:
- (A) If only (1) conclusion follows
- (B) If only (2) conclusion follows
- (C) If either (1) or (2) follows
- (D) If neither (1) nor (2) follows and
- (E) If both (1) and (2) follow.

Answer should be-D.
The middle term is goat, which is not distributed either of the statements,
Conclusion -II- cannot follow, as the main term in the conclusion that is trees should be distributed atleast once.

I think both 1 and 2 case follows in the second diagram. Why should we take first diagram only. Give me answer soon.

Put the conclusion on the two diagrams and take the conclusion which proves absolute. Dont consider if the solution satisfy the two diagrams... that'a all

If we consider both the case then no conclusion will be drawn. So is it true to consider only one case to get the answer.

If any on case is not follows then conclusion not exist. If any conclusion is false from any diagram the don't try to make efforts to make it true.

It is simple. We don't have to use any trick. Think logically. See all poets are goats but may be possible these goats are not trees. So we cannot conclude 1st one. But in the second case if some goats are trees then naturally some trees are goats. Its simple.
