Table 1 = A,D
Table 2 = FBE
Table 3 = C and G.

In this arrangement, we can say in 1 st Q the answer is 3 or 4 as we can't determine that G is a girl or not.

The following combination is also possible:
A D
C B F
G E

OR

A E
C B F
G D.

Correct me, if I am wrong.

According to me, the solution is;.

Consider this, " A sits on the bench I with his best friends" means A is a boy "E is the brother of C " means E also is a boy. That leaves with only "3" girls - can't be 4 girls.

According to the question, A sits on the bench 1 and G sits on the bench 3. Since F the boy student sits with only B, so place F and B on the bench 2. Because F is a boy, B must be a girl. Given that, C (girl) can not sit with A, E and D so place it on bench 3.

Given that, A sits on the bench I with his best friends. Therefore more then two students are sitting on bench 1, which are A, E and D. Because A and D are boys, so E is a girl.

G may be a boy or girl.

Answer (b) is correct.
