Why option A is not the answer?

Syed Yusuf said: (Jan 21, 2011)
What about option A?

Sundar said: (Jan 21, 2011)
@All

P is to the immediate LEFT of Q (not RIGHT of Q).

Koundinya said: (Feb 4, 2011)
Imagine right-clockwise.

Left-anti-clockwise.

Then given answer is correct.

Vibin said: (May 16, 2011)
It can be sitted like U V T R P Q W S or U V T R P W S Q in the anti-clock dirction so the option C is also may go as wrong, isn't it?

Ilyas said: (Jun 30, 2011)
Clue:Anti clock of any term is LEFT

Clock wise of any term is RIGHT

From W, Q position is anti clock to W, therefore it is IMMEDIATE LEFT TO W.

I agree with vibin.

Aditi said: (Aug 31, 2011)
Arrangement can also be like UVPRTQWS in clockwise direction.

Rahul said: (Sep 17, 2011)
There are 2 ways of sitting so none of the answer is correct.

Priya said: (Sep 17, 2011)
If S W Q is replaced by Q S W then, no option is correct.

Rakesh said: (Sep 26, 2011)
There is 2 ways of arrangement is possible 1 is given in explanation and second is UVTRPWSQ so there is no one option is correct.

Jia said: (Mar 23, 2012)
All are facing the centers. So there is only one way to arrangement.

Sanj said: (May 31, 2012)
We can ALSO arrange like this UVTRPWSQ, and here 3rd question answer will nOt satisfy. What say guys?

Manoj said: (Apr 17, 2013)
Hello friend from which side should be taken as a reference side. Means my right side is left for the person in front of me so according to the arrangement, q is immediate left of w, if we re rotate the figure 180 degree then q is immediate right of w so which reference side is correct and default one?

Cristofgn said: (Nov 8, 2014)
There are 2 way of arrangement, 1 possibility doesn't give any answer.

Ritesh said: (May 29, 2015)
@Rakesh is correct, there are two possible arrangements.

Second arrangement is (PRTVUQSW CLOCKWISE DIRECTION). So may be the question has some ambiguity.

Ritesh said: (May 29, 2015)
@Manoj.

In circular seating arrangement, if all are facing the center than take right side always in anti-clockwise direction. And take left side always in clockwise direction.

Try to figure it out by making a arrangement with all facing center and mark their right and left you will notice this convention.

Babli said: (Jun 21, 2015)
@Rakesh is correct it could be clockwise or anticlockwise.

Harsh said: (Aug 20, 2015)
BC there is nothing like left & right as definition of left & right changes with clockwise or anti clockwise.

Vinodh said: (Aug 23, 2015)
Get seated in one chair of W and face toward the center; you will will know which answer is correct i.e "C".

Anoop said: (Mar 2, 2016)
The Positions of Q, S and W can be shuffled among them [PRTVUQSW].

Shrikrishna Padalkar said: (Jul 9, 2016)
There are two possible arrangements.

1-- > Starting from Q in the clockwise direction:- QSWPRTVU.

2-- > Starting from Q in the clockwise direction:- QPRTVUSW.

Aishwarya Ballal said: (Sep 20, 2016)

Gogo said: (Sep 3, 2017)
According to me, A is the answer.

Shaba said: (Sep 15, 2017)
It has two arrangements first one is TRPWSQUV.

Second one is TRPQWSUV according to second one option C is correct but according to first arrangement no options are correct. So because of this we will go for second arrangement.

Priyanka said: (Sep 20, 2017)
How is C correct option?

In fact, if see clockwise according to figure then A must be the correct option.

Shakti said: (Jan 6, 2018)
According to me, These two arrangements are possible.

P>R>T>V>U>Q>S>W.

P>R>T>V>U>S>W>Q.

Shubham said: (Jun 30, 2018)
None of the answer is correct because;

# Immediate right of Q is S.
#U &V are neighbours.
# Q is the immediate right of W.
# Q is between W&S.

So, according to me; none of the option is correct.

Shubham Waman said: (Jan 24, 2019)
Yes, A is correct.

Shubham Kohli said: (Jan 13, 2020)
A will also be the correct answer because p is the right to the q.

Aastha said: (Jul 12, 2020)
According to me, the arrangement is QPRTVUSW.

Girish said: (Aug 24, 2020)
All are facing towards the centre, so option C is correct.

Bhaskar said: (Oct 4, 2020)
I agree, Option A is also the right answer.

Niha said: (Oct 16, 2020)
How can we say q is in 1st position? Explain in broad.

Arti said: (Oct 12, 2021)
Everyone facing to the center, so answer A is correct.
