After changing all names as per the given question, in the place of N-W SOUTH will come and in the same way, in the place of S-W EAST will come so, in between the SOUTH and the EAST there is S-E.

All angles moves around 135 degree. That is the reason why West Becomes south east.

There are two possibilities.

With reference to Y, the answer is South -West and with reference to X answer is South-East.
