The question is mentioned that material Uncle. Mother's Brother is material uncle. Father's brother is paternal uncle. According to the question, O is either Father or mother of N, the gender of O is not given. So Answer C is not satisfied. And the correct answer is D.

Option C is right because there is no relation of O and we can not take O as a mother maybe it is a father so we can not call M is maternal uncle because there are possibilities of paternal uncle also.

Answer C is exactly correct because relation of o is clear. Maternal uncle means mothers brothers and question want only gender between M and N so option C is correct.

It is clearly mentioned in statement that A x B means A is the son of B. So in option [A] O x N mean O is son of B. It means O must be a Male person.
