How can niece be a daughter- in - law? Explain in detail.

Is niece and daughter in law are the same thing? Also, does the relation of the brothers-in-law son & daughter is same to only brother's son & the daughter?

Anupam's wife's niece is Anupam's daughter-in-law; This niece is the wife of the brother of the lady in the car; so, this lady's brother's the son-in-law of Anupam. So, The husband of the lady in the car also, is the son-in-law of Anupam.

The only daughter of my brother in law = My niece is the sister in law of the (brother of your sister )

Niece is the sister in law of your brother = Neice is your sister in law.

So, the niece is your Husband's sister.

So, the niece and your husband are brothers and sisters.


Niece is also called as the daughter in law.

So your Husband is the SON IN LAW of Anupam.
