I think either answer can be correct.
A) Since the beginning of history eskimos and red indians, by a very difficult method, have managed to catch a few specimens of this aquatic animal.
B) Since the beginning of history eskimos and red indians have managed to catch, by a very difficult method, a few specimens of this aquatic animal.

Why can't the answer be option A. Makes more sense and seems more connected. Someone please help.
