Full moon means completed circle.

Circle includes angle of 360 degree.

Half moon = 360/2 = 180 degree.

The full-size moon is just a complete circle.
And complete circle angle is 360 degree.
Then half circle angle is 180 degree.
Then the answer is 180 degree.

Moon is spherical in shape in 2d i.e., circular (360 degrees) a half moon is semi-sphere. i.e, a semi-circle. So 180 degrees.
