Zensar Technologies Interview Experience - 24th Sept, kolkata

Hello everyone,
Zensar technologies came for campus recruitment at JIS group, kolkata on 24th Sept. 5 colleges participated in the drive for cs, it, mca students.
Venue: Narula institute of technology.
Selection process comprised of 4 rounds namely:
1. Online test.
2. Gd.
3. Technical.
4. HR.
Online test comprised of 4 sections:
a) Quants: R S Aggarwal is enough. 30 sums 30 mins. Sums involved tedious calculations. So you need to be fast while solving.
b) C objectives : 20 questions needs to be attempted. Sites like knowledge earth will help.
c) SQL test: 2 sql queries involving table joining and aggregation function was given.
d) Programming test: 2 programs needs to be completed in 25 mins.
There was NO SECTIONAL CUTTOFF and NEGATIVE marking.
I personally did 2 sql queries,1 program and most of the aptitude questions.
Results were declared and very few from NARULA institute of technology qualified the 1st round. Only 6 of us qualified. 54 students qualified from all 5 colleges.
Next round GD was simple. very few candidates got rejected. from a group of 8 about 5 or 6 were selected. TOPICS were: Black and white, alcohol should be banned in India etc.
Technical interview was average difficult. But they rejected a lot in this round. Questions from java, j2ee, dbms were asked. Be confident about all the subjects you mention in your CV.
Finally HR round was simple. mainly questions were from IndiaBix HR segments and hobbies. 3 candidates were rejected in HR round also.
Final list consisted of 8 names. I was the only one selected from my college. To get into zensar all you need to have is a good technical knowledge with a good GPA. Mainly they selected toppers from the colleges.
So pull up your socks and work hard. Hope this experience helps.. See you in Zensar !
