Placement Papers - Wipro

Hi all,

I attended Wipro Technologies as a day 1 sharing along with infy, I\'m from Electronics background.

The eligibility criteria was,

1. >65% Aggregate.

2. No backlogs.

Around 300 students from our college attended for this drive.

The selection process is as follows.

1. Group Discussion.
2. Aptitude.
3. Technical interview.
4. HR interview.

In the first round it was actually elimination round they eliminated around 80 students in this round, group of ten students were there in each batch, luckily no one got eliminated in our batch, GD was on about general topics and Current affairs.

After GD they gave 1 hour beak and Aptitude round started.

The test was held my AMCAT and it had 4 sections:

1- Aptitude - Go through RS Aggarwal, and papers on IndiaBix.

2- English - Basic english, Antonyms, Synonyms.

3- Logical Reasoning - Go through IndiaBix papers. I myself practiced these papers only.

4- Technical - Basic knowledge of Data structures and Loops.

After this around 160 students got shortlisted.

In the evening there was technical interview which was conducted for only few students.

Next day remaining people attended. In the technical round,

- He asked me to tell about myself.

- He asked me to explain about Projects.

- He asked me to explain pointers in C.

- At the last he gave one puzzle and asked me to solve that I solved it.

Based on that he selected me.

For some people they asked about Electronics background. After this round they eliminated only few students.

Finally in HR round it was very casual round for those they had doubt to select they are sending them to HR.

In this, they asked me to tell about myself. And later he asked me Why IT, then he asked me about Wipro. I told to them and he asked some other questions

After this round 123 students got selected luckily I was one of them.
