Hello all.

My name is Farhan. First of all thanks IndiaBix. I m a final year student of B-Tech (electronic & communication engineering). Today I\'m going to tell you my personal experience from written exam to HR round.

In Wipro, there is a 4 phase stage of selection.

- Written exam organize by AMCAT.
- Essay writing (not a elimination round).
- Technical round.
- And finally HR round.

There was two day schedule for recruitment.

They made two part first who have 75\'. Thought out in academic and second which don\'t have. For first type, they did not need to give written. So there was 180 students for direct interview.

First day there was written test held by AMCAT. It was Easy exam and had three section a) english 25 ques, b) Aptitude 25 question and c) computer programming (C, C++, JAVA, DBMS etc) 14 question.

850 students were appear in that exam and 268 were clear the exam and I\'m one of the 268. So total student 180+ 268=448.

Next day it was 8: 30 am we all were in auditorium. They gave us essay topic and a A4 size paper to write down essay at 11am. My topic was \'ART AND ERA OF ESSAY WRITING\'. So don\'t worry go for internet checkout for content and start writing after 10 minute they asked to submitted paper. And they gave us a form which take at least 10: 15 minute to fill out you have to fill all things which you did in your resume like goal, mark, achievement, training etc. Now the time For interview they started as first come first serve.

I was called at 1:00am. When my file send to HR fortunately There were lunch time so I had to wait 1 hr more at that time and I was highly nervous. It had too we because that was my first interview and I was also so excited. So finally it was my turn for technical round.

I entered in room there was a female HR.

Hr: Sit down. And asked for "have you take lunch".
Me: No.

Hr: Why?
Me: Told the reason. (cause I\'m waiting for).

Hr: Where are you from?
Me: Told.

Hr: Tell me why your city so famous?
Me: Told.

Hr: Can you speak loudly?
Me: No mam (told the reason cause at that time I had problem in my cord).

Hr: Would you like to have water ?
Me: No thank you mam. I\'m ok.

Hr: Tell me your hobbies?
Me: Told.

Amazing thing was that She did not ask me the basic question which is so called TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF.

Now she took a look of my resume and said - you are topper of the class. I told yes I\'m.

And now main thing started.

Hr: What is your favorite subject?
Me: Told a list of 3 subject from 1st to 3rd year.

Hr started questioning for each and every subjects and again asked me which subject you had studied in your last year. I told and again she starting questioning for each one.

Remember: Don\'t add extra things/topics which you don\'t known. Cause if you said definitely she/he asked questions. So be honest and never ever go for things which you don\'t know.

Her topics for questioning were analog and digital communication, microprocessor, antenna, control system and asked for training and project so as I\'\'m pursuing student. I told her yet I had not decided for project be honest.

Now her next question is do you know C language.
Me: I know but basic.

Hr: Asked a very basic program for calculating area of square.
Me: Write program.

Again she asked 4-5 questions related to that program.

At last asked company related questions: Do you agree for bond, do you agree for relocation etc.

In between from beginning to last she asked me 25-30 questions.

Finally she said "I have done".

You can leave.

I said " thank you mam" and left the room.

Now I was waiting for HR round but due to lack of time. They said "we take only HR round for those student whom they want to give some more chance. "so they stated to evaluate students on the basis of their technical interview.

So after waiting long hour at 8:30pm they announced result and out of 448 students they select only 208 and I\'m so lucky and name was in that list.

So. Friends be honest about what you know and be confidential and positive toward your goal definitely you will make your dream in real. And one more thing is that if you don\'t have good english communication so don\'t worry if you have good knowledge in your subject then english communication doesn\'t matter any more. And HR also like yous don\'t scared for him/her.
