Hai everyone. Being an engineering student from IT. I want to share my interview and online placement test experiences which I have faced in the WIPRO campus drive in my college.
It started with a pre-placement talk at 10 am, followed by Group Discussion and few people had JAM Or Just-a-minute (for some batches both; like mine!).
In JAM they will give a particular topic to each and every candidate and they were allowed to speak on it, for a minute.
The topic which I got for jam is "the day when you felt like you are at the top of the world".
Candidates were divided as 15 per batch and at utmost 2-3 people per batch got eliminated in this round.
After the gd or jam round, there is a online written test conducted by AMCAT, where the candidate have to first get registered for the company selection process and the people who got selected in GD round were allowed to write the written test.
(proxies and ineligible candidates can be easily identified and eliminated. So it is better not to go for any malpractices. !).
The written test is pretty easy but every session has a cut off. People who are good at both aptitude (i.e. Quant, verbal and technical subjects (C, C++, ds etc..) can easily get through the test.
The results for the written were announced the very evening itself and short listed candidate\'s names were announced.
Out of 550, 139 people were selected and I\'m one among them.
The next day, the selection process resumed with comprehension writing. This is not an elimination round, but the candidates were assessed for their understanding and communication skills.
This is followed by TR Round.
Mostly you will be asked on the topics you are good at, and sometimes your project details also may be asked.
Some people had HR Round while some haven\'t. (I didn\'t face the hr round. Remember this doesn\'t mean you are rejected!).
I performed well at the TR Round.
At around 9:30 pm evening, the results, i.e. the names of short listed candidates were announced, and happy to say my name is there on the list.
