Placement Papers - Wipro

Hi friends,

I attended the wipro drive which came to our college campus on september 14.

As everyone knows Wipro has 4 rounds:

1. Group Discussion,
2. Online aptitude (Mass elimination),
3. Technical interview,
4. HR interview (not for all).

First was GD round of 15 people of my own class. The topic was on "Why should development be restricted to only few cities in India" It was for about 15 mins. Out of 1513 were selected. In my friends batch almost everyone were selected. Only few numbers are eliminated in this round.

Next was online test that was for 70 mins which had topics on quants, verbal, logical and technical. It was a easy round and I could clear them. This is where a mass elimination was done. Out of 400 who cleared GD only 100 could clear this test.

Next day was the interview. First they presented the pre placement talk. Then we were asked to write a essay writing (no elimination and I had no questions from this during my HR interview). Then we were asked to fill in application forms.

Then one by one we attended the technical interview. Questions were easy fro me and was mostly from my area of interests (data structures and DBMS). I am CSE student. So please be thorough in your area of interests at least.

My interviewer was so sweet had a smiling face and a had good experience and nice time with him. Helped my with answers that I didn\'t know. BE BOLD TO SAY IF YOU DON\'T KNOW THE ANSWER THEY\'LL HELP YOU IN IT OR MOVE ON TO THE NEXT QUESTION.

After that I was asked to wait for HR interview. They told they selected some random ppl for HR and which meant ppl not selected for HR are rejected. MY HR was about for only 5 mins where he asked me about how was my session in morning some questions on relocation.

Night they announced the results (I was one among it) people who didn\'t attend HR also were selected so no need to worry if don\'t attend HR.
