Interview experience.
Hi, everybody.
This is Ashirbad tripathy, I am a B.Sc in (information science & telecommunication) student. I attended "wipro wista with math" campus placement @ ravenshaw university.
Date : 21th dec 2014.
We\'ve arranged there for about 10\'o c. About 380+ students were attended the recruitment process. After completed the pre placement talk about one hr, selection process have been started.
Selection process:
1. Online written test.
2. Essay writing (no elimination).
3. HR interview.
1. Online written test:
Total timing for this written round was 1.15 hour.
It has two section.
(i) Aptitude or math (20 question 30 minutes).
(ii) Reasoning (30 question 45 minutes).
Topics for aptitude(math) are:
1. Time & work.
2. Time & distance.
3. Problem on number.
4. Problem on train.
5. Discount.
6. Percentage.
7. Odd man out.
8. Average.
9. Train.
10. Partnership.
11. Profit & loss.
Topics for reasoning are:
1. Blood relationship.
2. Seating arrangement.
3. Analytical reasoning.
4. Coding-decoding.
5. Number.
6. Passage.
7. Direction scene.
After appearing online written test result announced on 23rd dec 2013. Approximate 124 are selected in written test. I was lucky that my name was on the selection list.
Our essay written round & HR interview round date was scheduled on 21 jan 2014.
Date : 21 th jan 2014.
First we have to fill up the "wista" form. After that we have to write different social topics. My topic was "Globalization & Pollution".
After that we have to go for the HR interview. I was asked on my essay topics. Different question are also asked based on situation.
Basic questions for HR interview:
1. Tell me about yourself?
2. What are your strength?
3. What are your hobbies?
4. What do you know about wipro?
5. Why should I hire you?
After my HR interview result declared on 23rd jan 2013. 57 students are selected in HR interview. Thanks to god my name was there in the final selection list.
