Wipro Technology Interview Experience - Guntur, December 19 & 20, 2013

Wipro attended my campus on 19, 20 december2013.
Eligibility is 70% B-TECH in my college with other criteria in 10th and 12th. There are 432 students under this category from all streams of engineering.
In the morning PPT was given about the company and the opportunities in it. Listen to it carefully.
First round is GD. Each group consists of 15 students. Sometimes it may be a JAM or some other like talk about anything you know for one minute or choose your own GD topic, etc Be prepare to face anything to test your communication skills.
Second round is written test which is AMCAT exam (Check for AMCAT pattern).
AMCAT exam for Wipro consists of three sections for non-IT students and four for IT (CSE) students.
The sections are:
1. Aptitude-25 questions (35 min).
2. Non- verbal Reasoning-20 questions (25 min).
3. Verbal -15 questions (20 min).
4. Test on C-program (For CSE students).
There is cut-off for each section.
Out of 432, 140 were selected for next round.
I am EEE student.
My technical round (TR) is about my project and it took 15 minutes. In other panels there were asked some C-programs, aptitude questions, project work and other technical questions (some may depend on your interesting subject). Prepare basic C-programs and concepts. Know well about your projects and interesting subjects. Be good in your technical domain.
My HR round was in the next day and it is not necessary for all TR passed students to be called for HR. Some students were selected directly from TR if they have good technical and communication skills (it depends on the interviewer).
I was asked:
1. What qualities in you will help Wipro?
2. If your manager is smoking in office premises which is prohibited, what will you do?
(Manager may say that he gains respect from the work).
3. You\'re a team leader and two persons in your team fell sick just before two days of deadline of a project. What will you do?
4. I what way playing cricket will help you in working in Wipro?
5. A person in wheel chair hit you on your cheek. What will you do?
6. Are you willing to relocate?
7. Which city do you want to work in?
8. Are you aware of the bond of Wipro?
9. Can you tell me about the bond in Wipro?
Results were announced at evening and 74 students were selected. Finally I was selected. I am a Wiproite now.
