Hi I recently attended wipro on campus interview. I want to share my experience with that.

I entered the room and the interviewer welcomed me with a pleasant smile. The interviewer is of about 40 years age, looked professional. This is interview was purely technical.

Interview Started:

Interviewer: Can you write a program to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit?
Me: Wrote

Interviewer: Are you good at C?
Me: Yes sir!

Interviewer: What is a pointer?
Interviewer: What is the difference between a variable and a pointer?

Interviewer: What type of files did you use in your project?
Me: Normal text files.

Interviewer: No, what type it is like cintinuous, not continuous
Me: I was blank and told non continous.

Interviewer: What is the diff b/w both?
Me: Told some diff like advantage of non continuous.

Interviewer: Can you write a program to count the number of chars in a text file.
Me: wrote

Interviewer: what did do as a firefox ambassador technically?
Me: Nothing technically! but discussed about Firefox OS in a meet.

Interviewer: Oh! What is an OS?
Me: Told something like memory management, resource management, Interface etc

Interviewer: What is memory management?
Me: told

Interviewer: What is an interface?
Me: told something wrong.

Interviewer: What are the characteristics of an os?
Me: I don\'t know exactly.

Interviewer: what is kernel?
Me: Told about MBR and grub

Interviewer: what is the function of OS?
Me: blank but told something

Interviewer: What is the fastest memory?
Me: registers

Interviewer: Can you build a CPU with out using RAM.
Me: yes

Interviewer: Where do we use commands like grep, fork and some UNIX commands and asked me to write the syntax?
Mine Explanation was correct but syntax was wrong

Interviewer: What is a database?
Interviewer: What is a DBMS?
What is an entity?
what is a Data model?
What are the types of Data models you have used?
Me: Answered all of them but spoke something about schema.

Interviewer: I am seeing that since yesterday all of you are confused with schema. Do you know what schema is? What is a schema?
Me: told some xyz partial answer

Interviewer: How many tables do a schema contain?
Me: A lot sir(I remembered that when we login toSQL plus using SCOTT and TIGER We can "+Schema" and then all the tables under that +Schema button when you expand it)
Interviewer: What is a hierarchical data model?
Me: Told and gave an example of university database, which liked and gave a complement stating "Your example was pretty good"

Interviewer: What is an interpreter?
Me: Told

Interviewer: What is OOPS?
Interviewer: What is encapsulation?
Interviewer: What is an API?
Interviewer: How did you build android App? Did you write any api for that?
Me: No but I used the API\'s

Interviewer: On what databases did you work on?
Me: SQL and SQlite

Interviewer: Are you ready to switch over platforms?
Me: Yes

Interviewer: are you ready to relocate?
Me: Yes

Interviewer: What is your area of intrest?
Me : Srinagar is also fine sir, but he told not that place in technical area?

then I told "Since I am a fresher I have worked with Android, Java, C, C++, HTML. SO for me any platform is okay I am ready, I just need a platform to implement myself"

Interviewer: Hmm. You are good at C, C++, DBMS but not good at OS
Me: I told I didn\'t prepare OS sir, Given time I can prepare.

Interviewer: That\'s fine. but luckily I am good at OS and as a fresher you need C, C++, DBMS, Java and OS concepts to work in corporate standards.

And some more questions went on I don\'t remember them. Finally I got placed in Wipro after A group Discussion--> Technical+Aptitude+verbal written-->45 min Technical interview.
