WIPRO came for 2 day campus recruitment 12, 13 april 2013.
CRITERIA: 12th and B.Tech 65%.
And toppers (<75% throughout) are allowed to face interview directly.
On 12th:
First round was G. D. , topics are general like - Indian economy, indo china solutions,
Government vs private universities, inflation and recession,Oil price hike etc.
Groups of 15 members were made for gd and theirs no percentage selection if all are good they selected all and in some cases they reject the whole group.
AFTER THAT comes to aptitude (AS I m ECE so there is no technical for non cs).
VERBAL (MODERATE).
QUANT (EASY).
LOGICAL (EASY).
Sectional cut-off.
Its easy R. S. Agarwal books are sufficient for it.
NOW AFTER APTI. COMES TO ESSAY WRITING and form filling (cum resume).
A request don\'t take it as granted however their is no elimination but it plays a major role in your HR round.
What ever you write be aware of it.
NOW THE main rounds TECHNICAL AND HR.
(TECHNICAL):
INT> Asks me about "C" (CAN YOU WRITE PROGRAM?).
ME> Sir I have basic knowledge of C but for you I can try anything.
Now he doesn\'t ask any more technical questions and just we are talking about general things like Wipro, native place, what I want. etc.
NOTE: BE YOURSELF, BE confident they doesn\'t want you to be a genius they wanted you to be a guy they can mould accordingly AND DONT TRY TO FOOL INTERVIEWER because you can\'t.
AND then I got recommended for main HR.
(HR):
General talks about introduction, family, goals, achievements, aspirations etc.
And then he took out my essay and starts questioning about them.
Grammatical errors, sentence formation whatever he said always keep smile on your face and reply positively : That - sir I\'m trying to improve myself continuously etc etc.
They are looking for optimism, +ve attitude, perseverance.
Always have a question to ask to interviewer.
AND AFTER 2 hours result announced and I\'m lucky to be selected, in total 54 were selected from 370 students.
