Placement Papers - Wipro

Hi Friends, This is Praisy Eveline from Kongu Engineering College. Here is my Placement Experience.

Cognizant is the first company to visit our campus on sep-26th. I cleared the written test.But unfortunately,Cognizant is unlucky that I didn\'t get selected in the Interview process. Then comes the WIPRO on sep-30th.I had limited time for preparing WIPRO written test.

WIPRO written test is totally different from Cognizant.we had 20 Verbal,20 Aptitude and 10 Technical (Both circuit and IT syllabus) Questions.First I solved around 15 Aptitude questions in which I\'m familiar with.It includes Calendar,Ratio,Time and work and some problems similar to "out of box" thinking. Technical session has some basic data structures,error debugging and GATE (AND,OR,XOR) problems.Verbal section was a bit tough with analogies,synonyms and antonyms.People who reads paper can answer it easily.

Then I was selected for the interview process.I had Technical Interview at 8:30 PM on the respective day itself. This was our conversation

HR : Hi Praisy...
Me : Very good evening sir...
HR : ok Praisy..Tell about your family.
Me : (was surprised) I talked for 5 min about my family and hometown
HR : do you know c program?
ME : Yes sir.I know it well.
HR : ok write a basic c program.but there should not be any error in it.if I found any error,I\'ll reject you
ME : I wrote a basic c program and I explained it line by line with an example too.
HR : ok praisy.I\'m promoting you to HR interview

Then I got my boarding pass for the HR interview and met my HR at 9:30 PM

ME : Very good evening Mam
HR : good evening Praisy...Tell about yourself
ME : I started to sing the same rhyme about myself that i have prepared already.
HR : your strengths and weakness
ME : Self motivated.......etc and workaholic.....

(Then she asked me series of questions)...These are the questions

1 Any arrears
2 Any gaps
3 Aware of WIPRO bond
4 Relocatable

Thats all my interview.The next day,they read out my name in the final list.

Friends,my kind advise is please don\'t fed up if you don\'t get selected in a company.There are lot of opportunities outside the world.Give your best in whatever you do.Be CONFIDENT and never loose your hope.

Whenever you talk with a HR,have a Eye contact and be bold enough to deliver your answer.Whether it is correct or not,That doesn\'t matter.
