Placement Papers - Viasat

ViaSat visited our University on 04th march, 2017. Mainly they recruit from ECE, CSE, IT, EEE, Electrical.

Total 299 students appeared for the online test.

And remember each round is an elimination.

I'm from ECE.

So, whole process of the day were as follows:

1. Online Test - 30 questions, 30 minutes.

- No Negative Marking.

Total 2 sections .

Quantitative Aptitude (15 Questions).

The only catch here is time. Remember time is really really less.

- Logical and Verbal Reasoning(15 Questions).
- Coding and Decoding.
- Statement argument(Syllogism).
- Blood relation.
- Direction sense.
- Seating arrangement(compulsory).

Time is very less so do it wisely.

After aptitude test, Total shortlisted: 62.

3. Technical Interview I:

I entered the room and wished him then he wished to me to sit in the chair.

I: So Rajesh where are you from?
Me: Told (as I am belonging from Muzaffarpur, Bihar).

I: He asked questions from my Trainings and Projects?
Me: Told.
I: Very good.
Interviewer was impressed by answer.

I: He asked about networking and OSI Layer?
Me: Told.

I: He also asked about programming as I wrote C and Data Structure?
Me: Told.

I: He gave 2 programs to write?
Me: Wrote 2 programs.

Other technical questions: for EEE and E&I study electrical motors (like stepper motor) and how stepper works, and prefer different interview experience from IndiaBix or glass door.

5. Technical Interview II:

I: Tell me something about you?
Me: Told.

I:Tell me something about your Family?
Me: Told.

I: Explain OSI Layer with the context of a data tranfer using White board?
Me:- Told.

I: Are you placed yet?
Me: Told about other offers.

I: He gave a aptitude question of clocks?
Me: Done on the white board.

GOOD LUCK.

We waited for the result and 4 of us were selected (1 from CSE, 1 from IT, 2 from ECE).
