Out of 200 students from the below disciplines, only 14 from each branch were shortlisted for the next GD.
GD:
The time limit is only 10 minutes. Our topic was "Reservation system in India.
Out of 14 from my branch, only 10 were shortlisted for the technical round.
Remember you need to speak at least for 1-2 minutes to be shortlisted.
No matter you don't have to know the topic, you have to speak.
Technical and HR:
It's much of technical rather than HR. (focus is more on technical knowledge).
A few Technical questions from metallurgy are:

Explain the difference between GCI and Nodular cast irons. etc.,
Focus on the non-ferrous extraction of metals such as Al, Cu, Zn, Ag and production processes.
A project/summer internship was asked. So, be thorough with your project.
A few HR questions were included during this process.
Out of 10 members, 5 members were finalised for the Vedanta Resources from Metallurgy JNTUH.
Only 2 from Mechanical, 3 from Chemical and 1 from electrical got selected.
Original mark sheet, 10th, 12th certificate verification done by HR people.
After successful completion. You will get the offer letter on the same day.
The place of posting will be informed by them soon.
Thanks.
