Hi friends,
I have attended pool drive at ValueLabs office. I thought my experience will be helpful to others during interview process. I went through many previous papers and experiences, unfortunately, it does not work in 1st round because ValueLabs changed the pattern it consists of.

1. Personality Assessment Test (PAT).
2. Thomas International Test.

- PAT for 15 minutes, there will normal questions to test what type of person we are and there is no negative marking. One tip need to follow here is there will be repeated questions in this test, in which those questions format is different but meaning is same, make sure that you have to answer correctly for both questions then you will get 1 mark and they will say there are no marks for this test. PAT consist of 24 questions.

- In Thomas International Test, there will be 5 tests and they are very simple and before every test there will be a video with an explanation along with some practice questions. So no need to prepare so much for 1st round it is very easy. This test is for 30 minutes. One drawback is there no time on the window. We have to manage.

Next round is technical test for 40 minutes with 2 passages (10 questions) and 10 technical questions (mostly on C only). After 1 hour they announced the results, out of 300 they selected 62 for next rounds.

Next round is Group discussion with 10 or 11 members in each group. Tips need to follow in GD are 1) Be Confident and 2) Don't see to the person who is conducting GD.

My GD topic is Facebook and mobile phones are good or bad?
I also remember my friends GD topics also they are.
- Indian and modern culture.
- Is GD is necessary for interview selections? These two I remembered.

There itself after every group they announced results and I am one among them. On February 4th they called suddenly in the afternoon (1 pm) and said that the interview at 3 pm, so be prepared after GD only. Next rounds are 2 technical rounds and 1 HR.

1st TR round is about 45 minutes for me, they called me at 5:30 pm.

Me: Good Evening Sir!
I: Good Evening! Take your seat.

I: Your score is good in 10th and intermediate and why not in graduation?
Me: I explained.

I: Tell me about Yourself.
Me: Told.

I: Explain about SDLC.
Me: Explained.

I: There are 8 balls of same type in which 1 ball is lesser weight in how many chances you can identify that ball?
Me: 3 chances and Explained.

I: Asked difference between C and Java?
Me: Told.

I: What is OOP principles?
Me: Told.

I: Asked about the major project?
Me: Explained.

I: What is Exception? How we can handle in programs?
Me: Explained with examples.

I: Asked to write Fibonacci series and polymorphism example programs? Explain?
Me: I wrote the programs and explained.

I: Asked about Joins, Primary key, Candidate Key, Foreign Key?
Me: Joins I am not able explain that good instead I said that I am not able to recollect right now. Remaining 3 I explained clearly.

I: Another logical question if 1=5, 2=25, 3=125, 4=325, 5=?
Me: 645, and I also Explained.

I: Thank you!
Me: Thank you sir!

Next round on February 10th, this time they informed us on 9 th only. This interview is about 25 minutes and my chance at @5 pm.

Me: Good Evening sir!
I : Good Evening, Take your seat.

I: Tell me about yourself in 5 minutes without any breaks.
Me: Told. (So be prepared with self intro and highlight yourself).

I: What you did in software design contest? how you get 1st price? (As I mentioned in my resume).
Me: Told. (Impressed).

I: Which language are interested?
Me: I said Java.

I: Why Java is becoming so popular?
Me: I said that it is open source because of that people can easily build the applications with out any cost and I compared with ASP. NET because for. NET we have to pay for Microsoft for particular period. (I keep on explaining until he convinced).

I: OOPs Concepts?
Me: Explained.

I: 1Kg Iron and 1Kg cotton in this which one weight is more?
Me: I said both are same.

I: Asked to write small program to find string length in 30sec with full code?
Me: I wrote in 2 ways.

I: What are advantages of polymorphism?
Me: Explained.

I: Asked, what new type of programs you implemented?
Me: First I thought for some time, then I said about my mini project.

I: Asked that you will help your friends in programming or not?
Me: I said Yes, and explained.

I: Asked that if work need to be completed by today 7 pm but your father called you by 6 pm you have to be at your home, how will you handle that situation?
Me: I said I can convince my father that I have work and then I will come home.

I: No its very urgent. You have to go what you will do?
Me: I said, I can convince my father.

I: Very very urgent?
Me: Okay, I will do the work at my home and submit by 7 pm.

I: Why Valuelabs?
Me: Explained.

I: How you know more than me about the company? Asked me how was the interview.
Me: It was good :).

I: Thank you!
Me: Thank you with smile :).

After 20minutes they announced the results and I am selected and continuously after 10minutes they called for HR round this round is simple and easily we can clear. (questions they asked like something not there in your resume, tell me about yourself, why valuelabs. Etc). After 15 minutes, they announced the results and explained about the company and salary.
