Travancore Analytics Interview Experience - C-DAC Trivandrum, 21st Feb. 2012

Hi all, I attended Travancore Analytics on 21st Feb. 2012. There were Three Round:
1. Aptitude.
2. Technical Interview.
3. HR.
In aptitude, the questions were from arithmetic, reasoning (verbal non-verbal), and English language like comprehension, error correction etc. On the same day, I cleared the first round and called for the Technical Interview. It was a 35 minutes tour.
In technical they asked basic questions from C, C++, Java, and from areas of interest which I was mentioned in my resume. Also, they asked questions from my seminar topics. Questions asked were.
1. What is a static keyword and what is the difference between a Static variable and a Global Variable?
2. Can we alter the size of the array at run time (if a[10] is the size defined, the can we store 15 elements)?
3. What is a virtual function with an example?
4. Stack queue and linked list with code.
5. Write a code for reversing the name using a linked list.
6. Shorting and it's type. Implement anyone. I told them selection sort, then he asked me to do another one, and then, I implemented Bubble.
7. Computation complexity of sorting.
8. Many Questions from Java like overloading and overriding, list, string buffer and builder.
9. Difference between PHP and JavaScript.
10. Questions from personal interest. And some basic questions from OS live virtual memory, Inverted page table, fragmentation etc.
11. Which type of environment do you like to work in, about yourself, and at last they ask - Do you have any questions for me? I asked my doubts and then left with his permission.
After clearing the technical I was called for HR on the same day. In HR they only investigate the communication skill. They asked questions about myself, my family, and my livelihood. At last, they told me about the salary and other benefits. I was quite sure after the HR round.
My result came on the same day evening and I was selected.
