Hello Friends,
I am From VGEC, Ahmedabad. We had a Pool Campus drive of Thomson Reuters on 15th Nov 2014. I'm glad to share my interview experience with you all.
The selection process was.
1. Written Test.
2. Technical HR.
3. HR.
Firstly we had a written test which consisted of 40 questions in 60 minutes from aptitude, logical, and verbal. Aptitude topics are mainly from areas, probability, time & work, numbers, and ages.
Out of 300 nearly 70 cleared the written test.
Coming to my technical interview my interviewers were very helpful. The questions asked were mostly from basics of C, C++, CORE JAVA, DBMS, . They mostly asked questions based on the topics written in my RESUME. So prepare your resume so that you must be able to answer each and every corner listed in your resume. They asked me to write 5 basic programs.
Mostly I answered him by implementing every answer on the paper by explaining to him in real time how a particular task works rather than answering in definitions. I think that my interviewer was impressed.
Finally, my technical interviewer said that I could go for the HR round. This is the thing nothing to worry about. They asked me to tell about myself followed by questions like where would prefer to work, my career goals, and where I expect yourself after 5 years. Finally, after 15 minutes of conversion, they selected me. And it's the happiest moment for me.
So finally I would suggest everyone be confident and frank.
