This year TechMahindra was a pool campus for us. So we went to another college at 8 am in the morning, then we had pre-placement talk for 30 minutes. And the exam started at 12 pm.
1st round:
It had 75 questions and had 7 sections.
English - 1 had 10 questions and consists of synonyms and antonyms and fill in the blanks.
English - 2 had 20 questions and consists of propositions articles tenses and one word.
- Substitutions and idioms.
- Quant had 11 marks.
- Prefer s.i and c.i
- Ages.
- Problems on ages.
- Profit and loss.
- Time speed distance.
- Percentages topics.
- Reasoning consists of 21 questions and topics like analogy.
- Coding and decoding.
- Blood relation, etc.
These are all important.
- You have English paragraph reading has one section it consists 5 marks.
- Another section you have non-verbal reasoning paragraph and it consists of 3 marks.
- And last section is visual reasoning and had 5 marks.
Guys remember each section has to get min 60% percent marks and totally you shd get 60% marks. As it had both sectional and overall cutoff. If you cleared the written exam on screen, it shows congratulations else thank you.
After you cleared written exam, immediately 2nd round ppdt will start.
This is a mass elimination round, in this round they will give a picture and we shd write a story based on that, avoid grammatical mistakes and follow some basic rules of grammar, luckily I had cleared this round.
Next round is technical round.
HR was so cool and he asked about self details and project and some C programs and I answered confidently cleared that round.
Final round is HR round.
He asked to me to tell about myself. And also asked about my family background and asked to describe about my town and also asked to tell something about my sibling and asked me to write about test cricket for 30 lines. I had answered all those questions and finally he asked me about relocation and he told me that I was selected. From my college approx 300 students attended and 8 members were selected. I am also selected and felt very happy. Guys just be Confident and always have a smile face.
