Hello guys,
I am currently pursuing B.E (CSE) at Government College of Engineering, Salem.
We were called for the pre-placement talk about the company at 8:00 a.m. Pay attention to the presentation and note down the points which you feel are important.
ROUND-1 : Online Test ; 75 Ques ; TIME: 50 Mins
SECTIONS:
English General 1 : Basic Grammar Checking (10 marks).
English General 2 : Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence framing, etc (20 marks).
Prose Comprehension : Questions asked from the given paragraph (5 marks).
Arithmetic Ability : Aptitude test (Max questions comes from Time & Work, Time &
Distance, Profit Loss, Numbers, %) (11 marks).
Verbal General : Circular/Linear Permutation, Analogy, Direction, Clocks, Calendar (21 marks).
Verbal paragraph : Blood Relation (3 marks).
Non-Verbal Figures : Figure Sequence, Odd man out in figure pattern (5 marks).
Keep in mind that there will be both Sectional and Overall Cut-off. So you have to perform well in all sections.
ROUND-2 : Story Writing; 200 words; 15 Mins
Once you clear the first round, you are supposed to write a story on the given random picture.
ROUND-3 : Technical HR Interview
I was the one who called first for attending the interview. The ques asked from OOPs, DS, DBMS concepts. Be clear in your project explanation. To say frankly, your resume will serve as your ques paper. Be strong in all the fields and papers which you have specified. HR gave me a situation to test my confidence, positive thinking and decision-making ability. The interview lasted for about 25 mins.
ROUND-4 : General HR Interview
This was simply a casual conversation which lasted for about 15 mins. Here Communication ability and flexibility of the candidate was checked and HR asked me whether I know anything about TechM and I answered.
As a whole, the campus drive was held in a formal way and after waiting for nearly 4 hours, HR announced the list of selected candidates and my name was the first.
Hurrah!!!!
In each and every round, students got eliminated. So be careful and don\'t lose your hope. Lets meet at TechM.
