Hi my name is Vamshi Krishna, recently I got placed in tech mahindra (on campus) (19th august, 2016).
The 1st round was written test consisting 7sections (English general 1, English general 2, comprehension passage, quant, verbal reasoning and nonverbal figures).
The 1st section have 10 questions which were very easy and 2nd round having 20questions, synonyms, analogies, simple english, sentence completion will be asked. These 2 rounds will be very easy.
3rd round. You need to understand the passage. 5 Questions will be asked and the common questions "what does the passage say".
4th is quant. Simple sums will be asked. IndiaBix and R.S Aggarwal is more than enough. Understand the concepts. Concentrate more on time and work, profit and loss (6 question came from profit and loss for me), ages, averages, SI, CI.
5th is verbal reasoning of 21 questions. Series, analogies, blood relations etc. Not easy than 1st 2 sections.
6th is verbal reasoning paragraph. It is very easy. You need to just understand the question. Dats it.
7th is non verbal figures 3 questions. Practice a lot these from non verbal reasoning book.
Total time 50mins, and questions 75. Better do quant at last. You need to get 60% from each section.
And save as soon as you complete a section.
As soon as you submit our written test, result will be displayed. You will get congratulations if you cleared and vice versa.
The next is story writing on given picture. Just write anything related to the given pic without any grammatical errors. For me they have given the pic of Adolf Hitler. We need to write 200 words. But am unable to write 200 words. Whatever I have written was without any grammatical errors. And I got selected in 2nd round.
For technical interview, C lang basics is enough for Non CSE branches. Am from mechanical. They asked.
1) Tell me about yourself.
2) What do you know about C?
3) Plans for higher studies(tell no).
That\'s it. I cleared in Tech interview.
The last one is HR. They asked me to tell about my self (same question in 3rd round), about my project, special skills in you, why mechanical(as am from mech).
That\'s it.
