Hello friends, after reading many reviews about companies I also want to share my interview experience which might be helpful for others.
I am Srikanth and I am from Vignan institute of information technology, Visakhapatnam. We had on campus drive by Tech Mahindra on 3,4 Nov, 2015.
At first there is a pre-placement talk which is very useful for interviews. Then they conducted an online test which consists of 130 questions divided into six parts. Each has its individual cut-off, I don\'t know exact cut-off as they don\'t reveal them. There is no negative marking and no sectional time limit.
English is very easy and can be cracked by anyone who has a good vocabulary, but Quants part is somewhat time taking but was very easy the only thing you have to do is practise regularly.
The result of the online exam will be displayed to you immediately, after completion of test if it asks you to fill the form then you are selected otherwise not selected.
Second round is Essay writing where they mainly check for grammatical errors and spacing errors along with content. My topic is
"Is social media is killing the reading habit of youth?"
Around 900 members participated out of which only 150 members including me able to get through the two rounds. We are called for TR which is very simple the online thing you should do is be fair and always keep smile on your face, don\'t be over smart as the interviewer is very smart.
In TR, he asked me,
- Tell me about yourself.
- What are your projects?
- How flexible you are?
- Asked whether I will do the project given by the company which is not of my interest? (this is very tricky question be careful).
- Asked about Coding contest which attracted him as I mentioned them in resume.
- Explain your Personal traits.
After this he asked me to wait outside in the evening they have given the results. Out of 150, 120 members cleared TR and I am also one of them.
HR was conducted on the next day, to be frank HR round is very simple they ask few questions about your resume.
Around 112 got selected.
