Placement Papers - Tech Mahindra

Hi All, Tech Mahindra came to our campus on Sept. 16, 2015. Students of all departments were eligible with class 10th 60%, class 12th 70% and current cgpa 60%.

They arrived at around 9 am.

First of all, they gave ppt.

Then after an hour, we had our online test.

This is very important. Maximum students are rejected in this stage.

The online apti consists of :

1) Arithmetic.
2) Verbal.
3) Logical Reasoning.

This Paper consists of 130 questions which you need to answer in 80 minutes.

There were 9 Sections in the paper. 1 section was of arithmetic, rest were verbal and logical reasoning. Each section had a different cut-off and also there was an overall cutoff of 65%. So you cannot leave any of the section. Also, the number of questions were different in each section.

For ARITHMETIC - RS AGGARWAL examples of each chapter and formulae are more than sufficient.

For verbal - Synonyms, Antonyms. You may prepare verbal and logical part on indiabix.

At the end of the paper, as soon as you hit the "SUBMIT TEST" button, you will get the message that you are selected or rejected.

If you are selected, there is an online essay test of 10 minutes.

My topic was - "Safely Drive Training Education Program for Youths to stop the number of road accidents".

You need to finish this in 10 minutes in about more than 600 letters (not words).

But the most important part is APTI, maximum are rejected in apti only.

Only a very few students get rejected in essay.

Now, after that you have two round of interviews - TI and HR (PI).

TI - Firstly introduction. Then, basics of C, C++, Java, Data structure and dbms will do just basics.

Then, he asked one puzzle question. He did ask puzzle from each of the candidates.

PI - Again introduction.
